BIOL 190/190L/BIOT 70/70L: Introduction to Biotechnology Lecture/Lab
are courses that satisfy life science GE requirements and also are part of the foundational certificate in biotechnology. These courses explore the fundamentals of biology with a focus on the newest techniques, discoveries, careers, and ethical questions encompassing this field. Students enrolled in the spring laboratory at Santiago Canyon College will meet in person, Irvine Valley College students will participate in cutting-edge virtual labs, and Fullerton College will receive a no-cost kit perform experiments at home while participating in a live remote course.
